Rutland Sailability
is a registered charity and all our helpers are unpaid volunteers
All of our funds go
directly to the benefit of our members

We raise all our
funds through modest member subscriptions and fund raising in the
wider community.
We depend on a large number of commercial and voluntary
organisations as well as private donations to purchase new boats and
equipment and to fund our annual operating costs, examples of which
are maintenance, insurance, safety boat running costs (without which
we cannot sail) and various essential fees.
We are active in publicising our work through corporate contacts,
increasing awareness through the media, press activity and making
presentations to local groups.
We have an active Friends Of Rutland
Sailability programme where individuals can support us through
tax efficient giving and by helping promote Sailability in the local
community.
Pictures
on this page show examples of the range of equipment we need to
supply to allow our members to have a safe and concern-free sailing
experience.
We recognise the support given by our Supporters by displaying their
names and logos on our boats and equipment.
Over the years we have been fortunate to have received support from
many and diverse sources. We always thank those who are generous
enough to donate funds. We haven't listed them all here as we do not
wish to offend anyone by the inevitable inadvertent omission. We
hope our Supporters understand this position.
However we do urge you to follow the
link to
Support Our Supporters and see what some of our Supporters are
doing to raise funds ....

We publicly
acknowledge recent donations by name in our twice yearly publication
Gone Sailing which is sent to our
Supporters
